Today’s Market could be a sweet spot for sellers

As a professional realtor, I'm excited to share that the spring housing market is shaping up to be a sweet spot for sellers.

Despite the challenges faced by the housing market, such as the low number of homes for sale compared to the high number of buyers, this is still a seller's market. 

According to the Monthly Market Trends from Realtor.com, the number of homes for sale is 43. 2% lower than pre-pandemic levels from 2017 to 2019. U. S. house prices have also remained largely unchanged during the last four months and are still near peak levels achieved over the summer of 2022.

Higher mortgage rates have slightly suppressed demand, however, the low inventory of homes for sale has helped maintain relatively flat house prices.
